This is Mr. David Coleman’s 17th year as a teacher and his first at SIS. Prior to moving to Seoul, Mr. Coleman taught English and Journalism at the college and high school levels in Colorado and Maine. Here at SIS, Mr. Coleman teaches Advanced Placement English Language and Composition, British Literature, Introduction to Publications and Newspaper (Tiger Times). He also serves on the Director’s Administrative Council.
In addition to his work with students in the classroom, Mr. Coleman is dedicated to getting involved with the larger SIS community. He serves as advisor for three clubs (Seoulite – SIS’s Model UN Daily newspaper, Kaleidoscope – SIS’s Literary Magazine, and Quill & Scroll – The National Journalism Honor Society).
In his free time, Mr. Coleman loves bicycling, playing his guitar, and traveling with his wife, Emily.
