This is Mr. Harrison’s sixth year at Seoul International School (SIS). He is the Elementary School Physical Education Specialist and Team Leader and has also been a Grade 1 classroom teacher. Prior to coming to SIS, he taught in Japan for four years in both Japanese public schools and at a language institute. In his free time, he plays ice hockey, ultimate frisbee, basketball, practices yoga, road bikes and weight trains. He loves music and plays the acoustic guitar both at home and in class. He also loves traveling and has visited over 15 different countries around the world. His teaching philosophy is that the teacher needs to provide students with a safe, honest and challenging environment to learn and that students need to take responsibility for their own learning by doing their best at all times. His hope is that his students will think and communicate independently, openly and honestly in every aspect of their lives.
