Middle School Counselors assist students with the important transitions from childhood to young adulthood. While our focus is primarily academic, we believe that support for the social, emotional and physical development our students are important in helping them to reach their full potential as learners.
We recognize that parents, teachers, the extended family and the community all have vital and complementary roles to play in a child's education. In addition to providing academic support for students, we assist in promoting healthy living habits and positive interpersonal interactions with peers. This is accomplished through one-on-one interviews with each student and classroom visits. Level transition activities assist elementary students with transition to the middle school environment and prepare eighth grade students for entry into high school. The counseling office also offers a range of services from tutoring to boarding school placement. To learn more about our counseling services, please visit our Google site at:
